Grandpa's shop

...what I wouldn't give to go back in time to see my grandfather's old shop in West Phila during its heydays of the 1930's.   Given a chance to see his tools and watch him work would be the coolest thing I could imagine....


his shop was located on Locust street in West Phila, PA


tow truck made from a 1933 Packard touring car


I believe this to be a late 20's Indian or Ace motorcycle


judging by the make and model, I believe this was his first tow truck
